Category:State upper houses in Australia

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The upper house of each of the bicameral Australian state and territory parliaments is known as the Legislative Council. Queensland abolished its Legislative Council in 1922. The Northern Territory and the Australian Capital Territory are also unicameral - that is, they do not have an upper house.
